    All Candidates Must Be U.S. Citizens with Ability to Pass & Maintain a Government Security Clearance, Including a Company Non-disclosure Agreement.               Technical Graphics is growing again!Under minimal supervision, the incumbent will apply basic quality assurance principles and techniques to assist in the planning, devising, and implementation of quality system processes and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating product conformance. Successful candidate must be thorough and detail minded, willing to work in a fast paced atmosphere. The current opening is for 3rd Shift. Job Responsibilities:  1.            With minimal supervision, assist in the development and implementation of instructions/methods for inspecting, testing and evaluating product conformance to specification.  Performs chemical and physical product testing. 2.            Perform inspections and test of product and components to ensure compliance to specifications and applicable standards as assigned. 3.         Coordinate work flow of inspection activities to support manufacturing and customer requirements. 4.            May on occasion perform source inspections and participate in the completion of internal audits. Assist with answering customer Corrective Action Requests 5.            Expedite and coordinate processing of non-conforming material reports. 6.            Perform investigations of manufacturing problems and product complaints to determine the root cause and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive action to prevent recurrence. 7.            Maintain quality system files and ensure that documentation of quality system activities are accurate and complete. 8.            Evaluate quality data and prepare periodic reports to monitor trends. 9.            Complete activities associated with the formal release of  product to finished goods. 10.        Process material movement transactions as required. 11.        Assure compliance with ISO standards. 12.        Perform other duties as assigned.   Qualifications:  ?         2- years minimum experience in a QA/QC position in a manufacturing environment.  Preferred - ASQ certification a plus. ?         Ability to perform routine analytical tests involving rheology, microscopy, material properties (tensill, peel), dimensions and calorimetry. ?         Ability to read, write, keep neat and accurate records, and follow written and verbal instructions. ?         Good organizational, attention to detail and follow-through skills ?         Excellent verbal communication and customer interface skills. ?         Ability to interface with multiple groups in the organization. ?         Intermediate computer skills required- word processing, spreadsheet, windows. MS Office preferred. ?         Persistent standing and walking required. ?         Consistent lifting of 2 to 10 lbs, able to lift 25lbs if necessary.  Able to lift over one's head is required. ?         Demonstrated lead inspection capabilities. ?         Willingness to contribute to other departments as necessary and work off-shifts, overtime, and weekends as required ?         Knowledge of safety with chemicals. ?         Knowledge of basic statics desirable. ?         Demonstrated ability to accomplish all listed responsibilities.  Training: š      Plant Orientation š      Corporate Safety Training/Environmental policies & procedures š      ISO Overview š      Up to six months on-the-job training š      Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment   Physical Requirements of Job: Note:  Work demands will vary day to day depending on tasks performed.   Walking & Standing -Frequently
