Job Title: Grade 5 Quality Assurance Technician Company: Avery Dennison Corporation Location: Meridian, MS Description: Monitor, record, and aid in solving quality issues related to process and product audit findings in DC operations. Perform process & product quality audits at a designated frequency in the DC operations. Provide leadership support to DC temporary staff used to support dock audits daily follow-up. Monitor corrective action system and ensure that all corrective actions are effective in support area. Develop, implement, and review DC procedures and work instructions as related to the quality system. Define, develop, and implement critical quality training modules. Provide training in critical skill sets in the areas of product, process, and written instructions as related to quality improvement. Support implementation of QSI and quality system requirements. Work closely with quality, manufacturing, and engineering to assist in the development of productivity and process improvement as related to the quality system. Directly responsible and accountable for performance of duties and has the authority to report any quality issue. Respond to customer issues in the production environment to support the reduction of shortages & fines.Minimum Requirements: Must have good oral and written communication skills. Good facilitation and team building skills. Knowledge of process measurement, process evaluation, and process control techniques. Self starter must be able to work under minimal supervision Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing environment. Basic PC Skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) and Lotus Notes.
