RESPONSIBILITIES:Independently perform daily quality support activities for production in a FDA regulated food processing facility.  -Daily review of HACCP related paperwork.-Monitoring performance of preoperational cleaning checks of production lines-Handling Customer Complaints. -Performing daily in process testing requirements. -Maintaining Food Safety program and compliance with SSOP’s, SOP’s, HACCP plans, GMP’s and CFR regulations.-Act as company liaison for regulatory agencies-Assist in third party audits-Establishing and monitoring adherence to specifications set for in process material, finish product and incoming raw materials. -Calibration of equipment.-Investigation of quality deficiencies and implementation of corrective actions.  REQUIREMENTS                                                              Bachelors Degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Biology, Microbiology or comparable industry experience as a Certified HACCP Manager with experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role at a USDA and or FDA Food Manufacturing facility. Ability to apply Food Safety and Quality Principles, interact with Production and Regulatory Personnel, maintain Quality and Food Safety Records.
