Job Title: Quality Assurance Supervisor Company: Location: South Burlington, VT Description: Quality Supervisor Shelburne Plastics, a leading manufacturer of rigid plastic containers, is looking for a hands-on Quality Supervisor to lead the quality efforts in its South Burlington, Vermont, facility. In this role, you will report directly to the Plant Manger and will be a member of the plant leadership team. You will be responsible for maintaining regulatory and auditing compliance as well as monitoring continuous improvement efforts in the plant, using the 8D methodology. You will be responsible for maintaining quality, training and housekeeping records as well as developing SOP?s. This role requires leadership, customer relations and training skills. You must have an understanding of quality systems with a track record of implementing process and procedure changes. The right candidate must also have effective verbal and written communication skills. Solid computer skills, including a facility with Excel and Word, are a must. A proven ability to work with teams is necessary. The successful candidate must have experience with FDA requirements in a food processing environment. You must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. You will be required to use basic testing equipment. Third party audit experience with AIB or ISO would be a plus, as would experience in plastics manufacturing.
