Position Responsibilities:• Position provides direct supervision and senior leadership for the quality organization and reports directly to the MOX Manager Project Assurance.• Manage, develop, and direct the project Quality Assurance/Quality Control program.• Responsible for maintaining the MOX Project Quality Assurance (QA) Plan and verifying its effective implementation. Scope of responsibilities include: Quality Control (QC) Inspection program, QA Internal and Supplier Oversight including audits, assessments, monitoring, surveillance and inspection of activities, Quality Engineering (QE) review of procedures and technical documents, Project Corrective Action Program and Trend Analysis. • This position is independent of the managers responsible for performing quality-affecting work and is independent of cost and schedule considerations. As a direct report, the Manager QA/QC has the same access to the President as the line managers of the various functional areas of the project.
