He/she must possess a positive attitude with self-motivation. Must be able to communicate effectively with good verbal and writing skills, and have the ability to utilize problem solving skills and techniques to achieve problem resolution. Problem solving skills may include experience with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing/Kaizen Event, Problem Solving Disciplines (5D, 6D, 7D, 8D). Effective use of quality tools and techniques to assist in determining compliance to specifications, tends, capabilities, and opportunities for continuous improvement is required. Problem solving skills may include experience with: Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments, and Process/Design Failure Mode Effects Analysis. Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints applicable to the process. Must be knowledgeable of computer systems and pertinent software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Project and PowerPoint. Experience with specialized software such as MiniTab (SPC Software, Pro-E and mainframe systems are a plus. Direct involvement with ISO program developing, writing or enforcing procedures and work instructions. V. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 7 to 10 years’ relevant experience in manufacturing and production processes required. Direct experience with a quality function and/or quality related responsibilities. Prefer experience in the automotive or agricultural equipment manufacturing industries. Direct experience in team facilitation, and group leadership required.
