Description:
Responsible for preparing, reviewing and submitting various environmental reports to ensure compliance.
Must have strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to make independent judgments.
Computer proficiency is required.
Experience at interacting and negotiating with state agencies (Cal/OSHA, SCAQMD, LACSD, LACFD, etc.)
Perform monitoring, evaluation and analysis of natural resources (water, gas, electricity) consumption and make recommendations for improved sustainability.
Responsible for leading the safety continuous improvement process.
Focused on implementing the Corporate EHS Management System which is in line with ISO 14001 and ANSI Z10 guidelines.
Requires a hands-on person capable of engaging employees at all levels.

Requirements:
BS Degree in environmental or safety engineering or related engineering field.
Minimum of five years’ practical experience focused on air permit compliance, wastewater treatment, solid waste management and industrial safety preferrably within the manufacturing environments.
