Ancillary duties include tasks associated with environmental health and safety (ESH), hazardous materials minimization, industrial hygiene, human factors, reliability engineering, explosive safety, nuclear safety, directed energy (laser) safety, and test range safety. DSS Responsibilities: The System Safety Engineer provides technical expertise to Systems Engineers to standardize the integration of all aspects of the MIL-STD-882D throughout Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Acquisition Programs.
