LOCATION:Indianapolis Drive to Hospital/Medical Centers and other assigned locations on a daily basis. Perform on-site field service Test / Investigation & Repair of electronic-mechanical medical devices including Intravenous Electronic Drug Delivery Systems. Duties include medical device installation, test & inspection, troubleshooting, electronic-mechanical repair, installation of hardware/software upgrades, and performance certifications. Implement and manage field service continuous improvement programs at assigned accounts. Establish and maintain frequent communications with various customer personnel including management, bio-medical / clinical engineering, pharmacy, materials, central supply, and clinicians. Provide accurate, timely and detailed field service reports, feedback on customer satisfaction, service activity and other administrative reports via computer input and hand written reports. Present and sell field service agreements. Travel approximately 35%, mostly within 2 - 3 hours driving time. Occasional need for overnight travel. Candidate must have an Associate level college degree in Bio-medical Electronics Technology, (BMET), or general electronics engineering. Preferred Education: BS college degree in Bio-medical Electronics Technology, or general electronics engineering, (EE). 2 - 5 years Biomedical Technician with electronic device repair & field service experience including strong analytical problem solving skills, excellent verbal and written communications skills with experience in dealing with customers in a positive and professional manner. Must be skilled in use of computer for input/output of service reports and other data. Information Technology/Wireless experience. Must have ability to travel upon short notice. Must be able to work overtime as needed. A Valid driver's license is required. Must be a self-starter able to work effectively with minimal direction. Assist Project Field Engineer in identifyinglessons learned and work process improvements (PIPS)Basic Requirements:-Requires 12+ years technical knowledge of all types ofPiping/Mechanical-Must have 7+ years experience in power (fossil or nuclear) or similarindustrial facilities.-Computer literate in Word Processing, Excel and database applications.-Requires a recognized degree in an engineering or related technicaldiscipline, or a combination of work experience.- Should have experience withTeamworks and 3D Modelling software.-Must have the right to work and remain in the United States.-Six Sigma yellow belt or other Six Sigma certification preferred
