Job Title: Operations Project Consultant-Six Sigma Black Belt (NJ) Company: Bank Of America Location: Jersey City, NJ Description: Brief Job Description: The Black Belt position is a role where individuals are responsible for utilizing the Six Sigma Breakthrough Strategy and statistical tools to enhance processes and services. Black Belts lead 4 to 6 business initiatives per year, coach Green Belts and provide cultural and organizational support. These business initiatives are specifically related to opportunities positively affecting control, integration and financial disciple. Job Responsibilities: •Drive projects across diverse areas and business units of Global Markets Securities - Americas •Understand client issues and creatively apply process design and process improvement solutions to real-world issues with world •Customize services based on each client's unique situation, leveraging a mix of process improvement tools: Process Design/DFSS, Six Sigma (DMAIC), Lean, PowerSolve/WorkOut and organization change management •Partner with executives, process owners and stakeholders to identify projects that align with business strategy and customer priorities •Serve as a change agent in the client organization by driving the required cultural transformation and the adoption of successful process improvement practices and by diagnosing barriers to project success and facilitating resolution •Mentor executive teams, process owners and stakeholders in the use of process design/improvement methodology and tools
