Problem-solving, root cause and corrective action skills are a must. Must have great communication skills and be able to work in a team environment. Auditing experience is essential with focus on manufacturing processes and improvement plans. The appropriate individual will have statistical knowledge and be able to collect, analyze, and make data driven decisions in a timely manner. Essential Job Duties • Customer Complaint Management: Support Stores on issues related to product quality and customer satisfaction • Perform vendor audits • Manage product specifications • Monitory Regulatory Issues: Registration, Non-Compliance • Product Reviews / Sampling • Competitive Analysis Reviews • Quality Trending- Audits, Complaints, Non-Compliance • Interact with Buying team to ensure overall product quality • Perform test studies and analyze data appropriately • Interface with vendors to resolve product quality issues • Implement process improvement activities • Ensure state and government laws are met(related to the product) Qualifications:• BS degree in Food Science, Animal Science or related field. • 2-4 years related experience • Strong customer-focused, quantitative, analytical, and project management skills • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work effectively with diverse customers and team members • Ability to resolve issues in a timely and effective manner • Previous experience in product manufacturing preferred but not required. • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Submit Your Resume Online NowPetSmart, INC. is an equal opportunity employer.
